About the Role:

KleisTech is seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Professional with a strong background in the Oil and Gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating and verifying software products to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality, enabling end-users to perform their workflows efficiently without software failures.

Responsibilities:

Validate and verify software products and components to ensure seamless performance for end-users in the Oil and Gas domain.

Collaborate closely with engineering and portfolio teams to design and execute quality tests, and report results for assigned software products.

Design, organize, and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and suites in coordination with the development team.

Conduct nonfunctional tests including those for system load and performance, security, scalability, usability, and deployability.

Review and ensure the completeness of test plans; track testing progress and report on results.

Analyze and prioritize technical problems, identify and escalate project risks, and verify the correct fix of reported defects.

Adhere to the Product Development process, reviewing software requirements documents, and providing input to enhance product effectiveness, integration, and usability.

Utilize and advocate for the software development standards, testing, and evaluation techniques defined by the SLB software development organization, and contribute to their improvement.

Document and report test results promptly using established systems for reporting and defect tracking.

Develop and maintain automated tests to support efficient regression testing, along with scripts and software for testing.

Work collaboratively as part of a distributed team, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
