Position Overview:
KleisTech is looking for a skilled Specialty Development Practitioner with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers to design and develop data ingestion capabilities, both structured and unstructured, in GCP. You will take ownership of the entire development process, from identifying the minimal viable product to troubleshooting and enhancing existing features. Your work will be crucial in curating data products and ensuring seamless integration across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers to identify and define minimal viable products, breaking down features into manageable stories.
• Design and develop data ingestion capabilities for structured data using Google Cloud Platform (GCS, DataProc, BigQuery, Data Flow).
• Develop ingestion pipelines for unstructured data, including images, audio, and video files, in GCP.
• Curate and manage data products based on functional requirements.
• Take end-to-end ownership of product development, including troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancing product features.
• Utilize Test-Driven Development (TDD) and code pairing practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Continuously integrate and deploy developed software, modifying CI/CD pipelines and scripts as needed to improve processes (Terraform, Jenkins).
• Collaborate with other product teams to ensure smooth integrations, testing, and deployments.

Skills Required:

• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform, including GCS, DataProc, BigQuery, and Data Flow.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and scripting languages like Python, Shell Script, and SQL.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development and CI/CD practices.

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of experience in IT application delivery, with proven experience in agile development methodologies.
• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCS, DataProc, BigQuery, Composer, Data Flow).

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
