Position Overview: KleisTech is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineering Practitioner with expertise in RedHat OpenShift Container Platform to join our IT division. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for administering and supporting the OpenShift Container Platform at Ford’s Edge locations, ensuring robust cluster management, container tenant provisioning, and platform capacity. You will leverage infrastructure-as-code automation tools to optimize platform performance and support new capacity and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support the OpenShift Container Platform, including installation, upgrade, patching, and monitoring.
• Manage cluster capacity and provisioning through automation of underlying hosts.
• Provide L2 platform support, including weekend “On-call” duties on a rotational basis.
• Collaborate with team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code, and perform unit testing.
• Author and edit system documentation and playbooks.
• Mentor less experienced team members on procedural matters.
• Assist in change management processes for new OpenShift versions, hotfixes, and SysAdmin tasks.

Skills Required:

• Expertise with RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and RedHat Linux administration.
• Experience with Docker or similar container technologies.
• Knowledge of GCP cloud PaaS/IaaS technologies.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform and Go Programming Language.
• Experience in infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and operations.

Experience Required:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• RedHat certifications in Linux and OpenShift administration.
• GCP associate certifications or higher are preferred.
